Abdou Rahim Lema
Founder & ACTIVE MEMBER
Born in Frigniou, a small village in the commune of Bassila in Benin, Abdou Rahim Lema is now a doctoral candidate and Vanier Scholar at the University of Montreal after earning a bachelor's degree in Economics and International Relations from Ipek University and Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey, and a master’s degree in China Studies from Yenching Academy at Peking University. But he had to overcome major obstacles before getting at this stage today. In fact, he grew up in a context where educational opportunities were almost non-existent. While he was born into a very large family, he was only the second child to graduate from high school and the only one to pursue a university education. In addition, he faced the necessity of working part-time since high school to finance his education. All of these unforgettable trials, overcame only through persistence and perseverance against all odds, had a profound influence on him and made him realize the importance of education and the need to make it more equitable and accessible to everyone. For this reason, he founded "Educ4All" to make quality education equitable by supporting children from disadvantaged families in Bassila. For him, this initiative is a way to not only give back to the community that has seen him grow and thrive despite countless challenges but also inspire children to take their education very seriously.
Born in Alédjo, a major town in the commune of Bassila, YABARA Halissatou has a bachelor's degree in Sociology-Anthropology, focused on Social Mediation and Development Facilitation (MSFD), obtained at the University of Parakou, Benin. Her journey is filled with difficulties that she had to overcome to get there. Married and mother of two children, her commitment to social cohesion in a developmental spirit makes her find in this Educ4All initiative a major interest for the benefit of the needy. This passion and enthusiasm that Educ4All exudes has led her to participate unwaveringly in the success of this noble program. For her, there is no doubt that this program meets the aspirations of her ambitions for the young generation because she is aware that every child, we teach is a human won.

Born in Kikele, a small village in the commune of Bassila in Benin, Maïssou YACOUBOU holds a master's degree in International Logistics and Trade from Chung-Ang University in Seoul, South Korea. Before that, he did a double major of undergraduate studies in Air Transport Management and Logistics Management at the University of Turk Hava Kurumu in Ankara, Turkey. Like other members of Educ4All, he grew up in an environment where access to quality education was almost non-existent. It is also for this reason that he finds this educational initiative one of the best ways to assist the young brothers and sisters of the commune of Bassila in their schooling. In this logic, Maïssou YACOUBOU has become an active and permanent member of Educ4All to share its missions, vision, and objectives, which are very precious to him. Conscientious of the various ordeals and challenges that he had to overcome, he is certain that Educ4All will play an important role in making education more accessible and equitable to all not just in the commune of Bassila but also in Benin more broadly. For him, this initiative is a way not only to give back to the community that has seen him grow and prosper despite countless obstacles, but also to inspire brothers and sisters to devote their time to work and to understand that goals can be achieved if there is determination and due diligence.
AFFO Mamadou is originally from Nagayilé, a village in the commune of Bassila. Married and father of three, he did his primary studies at Ecole primaire publique (EPP) of Nagayilé and his secondary studies at the CEG Bassila, where he obtained his admission to the University of Parakou to pursue and obtain a master's degree in Economics and International Finance in 2012. Orphaned from his father and mother in 2002 and 2003 respectively, he had to go through many challenging situations with the hope for a better tomorrow. Today, he holds two master’s degrees; one in Tax Administration (IA) and the other in Public Procurement and Contract Management (PPCM) and is admitted to the master's program in Economics at the University of Montreal in Canada. Having experienced the bitterness of the lack of follow-up and support, and knowing that the world needs humanism, being part of an initiative that ensures the eradication of social inequalities through its program of access to education for all, is an opportunity. Thus, he has made himself available as a permanent and very committed member of Educ4All in order to participate as much as possible in the construction of a better future for the children of poor families, because fingers may be unequal, but together they work wonders.
